Resin floor finishes for Brighton and Hove

Flake: vinyl flakes broadcast to full coverage over a pigmented base coat and sealed under a clear UV-stable topcoat, as in the garage at the top of this page. Grippy underfoot and forgiving of sand, grit and tyre marks.

Before any resin goes down we check the slab for moisture. Where damp is coming through, which is common in older Brighton garages and anything close to the seafront, we grind back to clean concrete and apply a moisture vapour barrier epoxy primer so the floor stays bonded. The finished surface has no joints for salt water to sit in and is resistant to road salt, oil, petrol and coolant, so a quick mop after a wet drive is all it needs.
